Wellness programs offered by the senior centers may take place at the senior center facilities, at local Park and Recreation facilities, or other community venues. Check with your local senior center for details.
Most classes and wellness offerings are free. However, some classes are offered for a nominal fee.
The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, a USDA-funded voucher program, provides access to fresh fruits and vegetables to individuals 60 and older who meet income-eligibility requirements. Qualified seniors can receive $50 of free produce one time per year during the farmers’ market season (July – September).
