Aging Mastery Program was created to help today’s older adults address both the benefits and challenges of living longer while feeling empowered to take key steps to improve overall well-being, add stability to life, and strengthen ties to the community. Classes are 90 min and meet once a week for 10 weeks. Learn more about the Aging Mastery Program.
Living Well is proven to help older adults better manage their health conditions, improve their quality of life, and lower health care costs. Classes are 2 1/2 hours and meet once a week for 6 weeks. Learn more about the Living Well Program.
A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to help people manage falls and increase activity. Classes are 2 hours and meet once a week for 8 weeks. Learn more about A Matter of Balance.
NEW! Bingocize combines the game of bingo with exercise and tips to reduce risk for falls. Participants play Bingocize® twice per week for 10-week sessions, with each 45-60 minute session consisting of exercises (range of motion, balance, muscle strengthening, and endurance exercises) and fall prevention information.
Diabetes Education Empowerment Program is designed to engage participants in self-management practices for the control of diabetes and the prevention of its complications. Classes are 2 hours and meet once a week for 6 weeks.

Where are services provided?
Wellness programs offered by the senior centers may take place at the senior center facilities, at local Park and Recreation facilities, or other community venues. Check with your local senior center for details.
How much does it cost?
Most classes and wellness offerings are free. However, some classes are offered for a nominal fee.
Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program
The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, a USDA-funded voucher program, provides access to fresh fruits and vegetables to individuals 60 and older who meet income-eligibility requirements. Qualified seniors can receive $30 of free produce one time per year during the farmers’ market season (July – September).
